Conference Theme: Embrace the frontiers of marine science and technology

 

This conference will be convened under the theme of new theories, new methods and new equipment in the frontier of Marine science and technology in this field.
In order to implement the strategy of building China into a maritime power, promote innovation in China’s marine science and technology and strengthen the development of first-class disciplines in marine science, 2023 International Conference on Frontiers of Ocean Science and Technology (ICFOST), sponsored by the College of Meteorology and Oceanology, National University of Defense Technology, will be held in Jiusuo Hotel Changsha from October 13 to 15, 2023.
The Organizing Committee will be inviting experts in Marine science, Marine technology, Marine engineering, Marine resource exploration and application, Marine equipment R&D and manufacturing, etc. for academic exchanges. The Conference will include discussions on topics such as ocean circulation, air-sea interaction and ocean climate, ocean mesoscale and small-scale processes, ocean remote sensing and data analysis, ocean prediction, ocean environmental safety and support, ocean exploration technology, artificial intelligence oceanography, underwater acoustics, underwater acoustics signal processing, and oceanography teaching skills with a view to promoting the common development of industries, universities and research institutes in the field of ocean science and technologies.

        本次会议主要研讨海洋科技前沿中的新理论、新方法和新装备。为落实建设海洋强国战略，促进我国海洋科学与技术的创新发展，加强海洋科学一流学科专业建设，国防科技大学气象海洋学院将主办2023年海洋科技前沿国际会议。本会议拟于2023年10月13日-15日在湖南长沙九所宾馆召开。
        会议组委会将邀请海洋科学、海洋技术、海洋工程、海洋资源开发与应用、海洋装备研发与制造等领域的专家进行学术交流。会议主要围绕海洋环流、海气相互作用和海洋气候、海洋中小尺度过程、海洋遥感与资料处理分析、海洋预报、海洋环境安全保障、海洋探测技术、人工智能海洋学、水声学、水声信号处理、以及海洋学教学研讨等十个专题展开研讨，以推动海洋科学与技术领域产学研各界的共同发展。
